Help desk Add topic I participated a wiki, but the local admin blocked me inappropriately. Also, I disagree the decision for the founder to change the wiki property from a public wiki to a private wiki. [edit | edit source](Second attempt for appealing) It is the Nanowiki. The founder inappropriately blocked me (without giving a reason) several years ago. It is a very great (public) encyclopedia, but the founder turned it into a private wiki some time after he blocked me. The founder of Nanowiki is unfriendly to me too.

So, what should I do with this? --小美粉粉 (T - C - S) 1004065811 bytes of data NOTE: Do not {{ping}} me! 03:17, 25 February 2026 (UTC) - Did you ask why you were blocked?

Crystalite13 (talk) 17:09, 6 March 2026 (UTC) - The local administrator there do not allow me to use talk pages and private messages to appeal the block there (even before the Miraheze private message service is disabled for legal issues and the change of the wiki property from public to private in sometime between 2024 and 2025). Also, that wiki is now private instead of public, starting from sometime between 2024 and 2025 (previously public in and before 2023).

@小美粉粉 Stewards will not intervene in local blocks without extremely good reason: local wiki admins are mostly free to block whoever. @Crystalite13 and TheWWRNerdGuy: I have remembered that Huijiwiki's User Editing and Wiki Atmosphere Policies said that a wiki's local maintainers cannot block users for whatever reasons (including blocking users without any reason and/or use such way to prevent users from editing a specific wiki [A wiki must be viewable and editable by anyone in wikis hosted by Huijiwiki, and anonymous editing is globally disabled there]), they must block users for a suitable reason.

Otherwise, such behaviour will be treated as abuse of rights in a wiki in that wiki farm. The reason of inactivity is that the owner is now a deceased user. It is private due to under construction formerly. The owner said that he/she will authorize trusted users to that private site. I am trusted. The Steward requests/Requests for reopening wikis page said that private wikis cannot be reopened due to privacy reasons, and thus I cannot request there.

Per the Main Page there, this is really a treasure and important site. The inactivity reason is special. I don't know if I can request to reopen and get access there. So, what should I do with this important site? The reason (why it was set to private) the wiki maintainer given is "the site facilities is immature". Please see this problem as soon as possible. It might be deleted in some time. This site is really important.

Unfortunately, due to being private, I didn't enter there in the past (at the same time when I am aware of it) and I do not know if I can request member permissions on private wikis (whether the operator will accept or refuse). It is really a treasure. I want to rescue it so it does not die out. The only maintainer there is already deceased. Thanks. --小美粉粉 (T - C - S) 1004065811 bytes of data NOTE: Do not {{ping}} me!

[[User:Crystalite13/sig]] (talk) 17:29, 3 April 2026 (UTC) - There's also the Communities Wiki with a list of all wikis (warning: it is very long and very slow to load). SonicKiddo (talk) 04:55, 4 April 2026 (UTC) - I was confused because my unfinished Brawl Stars Wiki was suddenly gone from my account, and when I make a request to make a Sonic Rumble Party Wiki, it says that I did it too early.

SonicKiddo (talk) 04:57, 4 April 2026 (UTC) - I'm not sure what you mean by "gone from your account". Searching up brawl stars Miraheze brings up "atrociousgameplay.miraheze.org" as a top result. You don't have a brawl stars Wiki attached to your account. And the reason you couldn't request another Wiki is probably you requested one earlier; there's a cool down of I believe a couple days.
